Dear reader,
How do you go about writing a weekly column in a newspaper? If you have an answer to this question then please come along and share it with me. I’d love to know the secret. I’ve been writing my Guardian column for five years now and I don’t feel I’m getting any closer to it. Zoe Williams has been writing hers for a lot longer than me so I’m hoping she can help me out.
On 10 October, I’ll be joined by my fellow Guardian columnist to mark the publication of a collection of my efforts: The Curious Columns of Adrian Chiles. If anything I’ve written has elicited a nod of agreement or a snort of laughter then do come along as Zoe and I share the joy and despair of coming up with something (hopefully) worth reading week in week out.
Live in London and livestreamed globally, we’ll be happy to take your questions. Even if you just want to turn up and throw rotten tomatoes, that’s fine with me as it will at least make a decent column. |
