• P5 Data Mover: an extension of the P5 Archive module, which offers policy-based moving and copying of archived data between tape, cloud and disk.
• Multi-factor authentication: provides an added layer of security.
• MHL checksum manifest of LTFS archived data: ensures that the source data has been saved and recovered without any alterations.
• UNC path support: enables easy access to network source and target storage.

See the Container Storage Engine in Archiware P5 Version 7

The new storage format in P5 version 7 is a real milestone. Multiple volumes are replaced with single Storage Containers to access disk and cloud storage. These containers are:

• Elastic, growing in size to accommodate data as needed
• Optimized for interacting against cloud object storage
• Support multiple write/read streams in parallel without compromising performance

Additionally, they support fine-grained recycling of backup data over time, resulting in best-of-breed backup to cloud with cost saving through lower cloud storage space usage.

Discover the Archiware P5 Integrations

Archiware P5 is integrated with numerous software and hardware. On the hardware side, P5 Archive and P5 Backup can be used with tape hardware by any manufacturer on the market. All modules support file servers, as well as Direct Attached Storage, SAN and NAS, thus working with practically any type of disk storage.

On the software side, P5 is integrated with numerous partners, especially with Media Asset Management systems (MAM).

See the Solution with DDP

Dynamic Drive Pool (DDP) is a manufacturer of state of the art SAN over IP storage solutions. In their products, SATA and SSD hard drives can be combined to achieve maximum performance and scalability.

DDP and Archiware offer a professional solution for backup and synchronize. P5 Backup regularly backs up the DDP production storage to disk or tape. To protect your data even more effectively and make it available in case of technical failure, P5 Synchronize can be used to clone data from a production to a mirror DDP.

Limecraft offers a powerful online collaborative workspace for video production. Limecraft Flow speeds up production and increases quality because it removes switching between multiple apps or transfer data between different tools.
