Dear CP Reader, 2024 is shaping up to be a monumental year for elections in the U.S. With this pivotal moment in mind, we invite you to join us for "Politics in the Pews," a thought-provoking event that delves into the role of Christian voters and the issues they care about. In conjunction with The Christian Post article series, "Politics in the Pews" seeks to examine the complexities of being a Christian voter in America. From the historical influence of Evangelicalism to the confusion over Christian nationalism, our panel of diverse voices will tackle critical issues facing our nation's electorate. This year has been called the biggest election year in history. In fact, seven of the world’s 10-most populous countries will hold national elections this year — including the United States. As more people than ever before are expected to vote this year, what exactly does it mean to be a “Christian voter” in America today? Is it merely a Christian who votes? Or something far more nuanced? That’s the question at the forefront of The Christian Post article series and upcoming live event, Politics in the Pews. VISIT THE EVENT PAGE Panelists will discuss hot-button topics ahead of this year's election cycle such as abortion, how Evangelical pastors are engaging their congregations on key issues like immigration and border security, and the rise and fall of the “Religious Right,” and support for Israel. They’ll also look at the “Trump factor” and division in the Church over Christian nationalism, along with a roundtable discussion with leading Christian voices on the state of religious liberty in America in 2024 and beyond. Join us as we navigate the intersection of faith and politics at "Politics in the Pews." Mark your calendars for August 27 and book your spot today! Event Location: Fellowship Church 2450 State Hwy 121 Grapevine, TX 76051 Warm regards, The Christian Post
