| | | | Grateful for you | Happy Thanksgiving!!! | One of our annual traditions is to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together with our teens, their families, and our staff before they return home for our Thanksgiving break. This is a picture of all of us together last Thursday night. These are the lives you’re currently making a difference in through your partnership. As we reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for during this season, we are grateful for the privilege we have to serve these teens and families, and for your partnership that makes this ministry possible. We hope you find many things to be grateful for during this season. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at The Joy House. “The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” – Psalm 50:23 | |

However, just because I was born in a good Christian home didn’t necessarily mean God and I were close. Read More Here... | |
| | campaign update - Steve Lowe | 15th Anniversary Campaign | I wanted to give everyone a brief update on our capital campaign. We’ve begun reaching out to some faithful partners along with seeking some new partners to raise the initial $1.2 million for phase one of our campaign, which includes the building of a new girls home along with the expansion of our counseling center services. To date we’ve receive just over $70,000 in donations. It would be a great blessing to take some significant steps toward our goal here at year’s end. Remember, these are funds we need to realize outside of our normal operations. You can go here for details on the campaign. | |
