Judy Wilder Dalton is a Texas artist and has has been painting for over 40 years. Judy started drawing and painting in high school without any formal training. Later she sought out as many classes and workshops in her area and was active in local art leagues. She began entering her work in art shows and winning awards in 1975. She was invited to join two apprenticeships in the 1980's and soon began teaching her own classes and workshops. She has received awards in oils, mixed media, watercolor, and pastels. And has exhibited in many solo and group shows.
Her mediums include Pastel, Oil, Acrylic, and Watercolor and Photography. And her style can be described as somewhere between abstract expressionism, characterized by open, emotional use of color, line and texture, to impressionism, striving to convey the essence of a subject without being literal in interpretation. Judy teaches workshops and classes in person and online. She coaches artists in finding their voice in their art and how to improve and grow to the artist of their dreams.
