Note from the editor

Dear readers,

Yesterday, Utility Dive's story on the new climate pact between the United States, Canada and Mexico contained an error.

In our post, we reported that the nations each agreed to a 50% renewable and nuclear energy goal by 2030. Instead, the 50% goal applies to the average of the three nations' emissions, not to each of them individually.

The corrected post is available here, and we will be exploring the deeper implications of the climate deal on the electricity sectors of the three nations in the coming weeks.

Thanks, as always, for reading,

Gavin Bade
