Let’s Learn about Baltimore County Public Library’s Mobile Services
Thursday, June 12, 2025 - 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. – Virtual
Join this webinar with the Baltimore County Public Library to learn about the Mobile Services they provide, such as Library by Mail and the Bookmobile in your local community! Access to these services reconnects both the care recipient and the caregiver to the pleasures of reading books, and provides a well-deserved respite (i.e., a break). Join the BCDA Caregiver Support Program staff to learn about resources and receive guidance. Trualta registration can also be provided (see attached flyer for more info). Contact the senior center to register for in-person sessions. To register for virtual sessions email caregivers@baltimorecountymd.gov or call 410-887-4724.
Resource Spotlight of the Month:
Did you know that 5 of Baltimore County’s Senior Centers offer the Center Connection program? This program provides services to individuals who need support, assistance, and encouragement to participate and socialize in senior center activities. Contact the Bykota, Essex, Liberty, Parkville, or Pikesville senior centers to find out more. https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/aging/centers
And one last reminder, we still have spots open on TRUALTA for caregivers! Trualta is a free, online platform providing support and education for caregivers 24/7. Trualta provides access to a library of information tailored to your specific needs, as well as virtual support groups and care coaches. It is a one-stop-shop for caregiver education! Contact us today to get registered at no cost, or fill out the request form at https://baltimorecounty.trualta.com/request-access. It is a quick process for those already a part of our program.
