There are only a few short days left to make a tax deductible donation in 2020 to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Please give a gift before midnight on December 31 and help prevent the victimization of children before it happens. Online child sexual exploitation has dramatically increased in 2020, and we need your help to keep children safe.

In 2020, COVID-19 trends we have identified in missing and exploited child cases in 2020, were:
  • Experienced a 98.66% increase between January and September in online enticement reports versus the same time period in 2019.
  • Had an increase of 63.31% in the number of CyberTipline reports between January and September versus the same time period in 2019.
  • Observed child sex traffickers adjusting to the reluctance of buyers to meet in-person to engage in commercial sex due to COVID 19. Some traffickers are now offering options for subscription-based services in which buyers pay to access online images and videos of the child.
  • NCMEC has experienced a 10.12% increase in calls into our hotline between January - September 2020 versus the same time period in 2019.
