Built from the ethos that liberty is the common ground we all stand on and can build from, Dayna Stephens’ Liberty Trio takes liberty in using a wide range of textural colors and rhythmic languages. Stephens performs on all four saxophones (soprano to baritone) and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument) to create a diverse sonic world that—along with Ben Street’s command on acoustic, electric, and Moog basses, and Eric Harland’s eclectic taste in cymbals and percussion—encompasses traditional swing and out-of-time exploratory realms. |

Jazz era dress encouraged for a lively evening of music and dancing featuring performances by jazz combos from Denver's high schools. Alcohol-free drinks will be provided by Bar Zero alongside a pizza buffet, mac & cheese bar, salad bar, and ice cream bar. Beyond the musical performances there will also be a student art show from Denver’s East High School. |

Tickets on sale now! Making their mark on the Denver jazz scene, the Maliq Wynn Quintet is defining their sound through innovations in modern jazz composition and language. Led by drummer Maliq Wynn, the group features saxophonist Chris Ferrari, vibraphonist Alec Streete, pianist/keyboardist Max Moore, and bassist Tony Golden—all highly creative individuals who have played together for years and grown up alongside Denver’s jazz giants, and now study at some of the top jazz conservatories in the country. |
