HR professionals are becoming programmers through the use of AI "prompting," which involves the design of prompts in plain language to instruct AI on tasks such as analyzing company culture, creating onboarding plans, building job descriptions and drafting letters, writes Josh Bersin, who points out platforms such as Galileo offer customizable prompts. "Just as the finance department once had 'Excel gurus,' we need 'prompt mentors' to help us build, refine and scale our AI workflows," Bersin writes.
