Thanks to an upper-level weakness, there is a chance for pop-up showers and storms this afternoon. Any isolated storms that develop will have the capability of producing heavy downpours, frequent lightning , and gusty winds.

Still, for most it will simply remain hot and humid with highs in the upper-90s with a heat index above 100°. There will be a southeast breeze at 5-10 mph.
