The Women in Science Parkville Precinct (WiSPP) report 'Respect in Research' is the jumping off point to explore issues around implementing gender equality and reducing sexual harassment in all areas of health and medical research.

Second Data Connect Showcase

VCCC Alliance is delighted to welcome back The Hon Mary-Anne Thomas MP, Victorian Minister for Health, who officially launched Data Connect in 2023, to the second annual showcase of this impactful body of work. 

Data Connect has enabled data from general practice, cancer registries and hospitals to be linked for the first time in cancer research in Australia, enabling researchers to examine diagnostic pathways, contributors to cancer diagnostic delay and effects on cancer outcomes, in a way that promises to have real impacts for patients.

All are welcome at this in-person event in the Level 13 Lounge of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre building.
