Typically these things pass routinely, but this year some are saying they want more transparency. A national coalition of grassroots organizations has gone door-to-door in some neighborhoods raising concerns. Others have criticized how the sheriff's office operates the Parish Prison. Another large insurance company is calling it quits, as far as writing policies in Louisiana is concerned. Who is it now, and what does it mean for policyholders?
