Stress test forces JPMorgan to divest mortgages JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says the Federal Reserve's annual stress test has resulted in actions the bank would not have taken otherwise, such as suspending share buybacks and divesting mortgages from its portfolio. "It's not good for the United States economy, and, in particular, it's bad for lower-income mortgages," Dimon says. "You haven't fixed the mortgage business—and then we're making it worse."
