HALLELUJAH: Just as suddenly and inexplicably as she was kidnapped, Sister Suellen Tennyson, the Kenner native working as a missionary in Burkina Faso, has been found alive and safe after almost five months in captivity. Her order, the Marianites of the Holy Cross, said Tennyson is resting in U.S. hands in Niamey, the capital of neighboring Niger, but would not describe how or where she was found. PUSHBACK: In the first public rebuttal to a longshot recall campaign, a political aide to LaToya Cantrell defended the New Orleans mayor's record and called the effort to remove her from office a "Republican-backed maneuver" aimed at discrediting a Black woman leader.
