Thankful: Sister Suellen Tennyson has made her first public comments since kidnappers in west Africa released her after nearly five months held captive. On Tuesday, she spoke to the Clarion Herald, the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and said she wants to thank all who prayed for her safety. Tiger Stadium traffic jam: If you attended the LSU-Southern University football game at LSU Saturday, it’s possible your “game-day” experience stretched into the next morning. Never the easiest of tasks, getting off campus Saturday night apparently was a nightmare as traffic snarls kept people in parking lots for hours after the big game.
