In a bizarre incident, Hamas claims to have captured an Israeli-trained dolphin armed with a weapon intended to kill militants. The Al-Qassam Brigades reportedly captured a heavily-armed dolphin off the coast of Gaza. A photo released by the terrorist group shows a harness fitted to the nose of a dolphin with a gun-like device attached. Both the Israel Defense Forces and Mossad have declined to comment. The Russian Navy appears to have an active marine mammal program, and there have been reports of Israeli-training marine mammals performing specialized missions in the past. To date, no other information has been released to corroborate Hamas' claims in this somewhat fishy-sounding case. |

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has announced it will be donating $500,000 to support Afghan refugees in Tajikistan who fled their home country following the brutal Taliban takeover in the aftermath of the rapid US withdrawal in August. “Israel is committed to supporting Afghanistan refugees and to improving vital health care services in host communities,” said Foreign Ministry Director Alon Ushpiz. “Men, women and children fleeing their homes must be protected and given hope for better days ahead.” The generous donation is the first of its kind to come from the Israeli Foreign Ministry and indicates the willingness of Israel to extend a helping hand to human beings in need, wherever they may be. |

| | I am so grateful for this rewarding experience. When I hand a young boy or girl a food package, I can see their small eyes light up with joy. At the end of my shift, I will have encountered dozens of people who will touch my heart, make me smile, or give me something positive to reflect on. I feel a genuine sense of contentment and believe I am making the world into a better place by helping the less fortunate. The fact is, my volunteering experience at Feed Israel has been very inspiring and is transforming me into a more wholesome person, simply by doing acts of kindness each day. |
