SPRINGFIELD - An Illinois anti-abortion advocacy group argues the U.S. Supreme Court's decision legalizing the procedure is outdated and "out of step with modern science." The Thomas More Society, a Chicago-based law firm, filed a brief earlier this year on behalf of Illinois Right to Life in the highest court's first abortion-related case in years.

Non-U.S. citizens inadvertently registered to vote

Five Republican Illinois House members are calling for an immediate hearing into the state's automatic voter registration law after more than 500 non-U.S. citizens were inadvertently registered to vote because of a programming error in the Secretary of State's Office.
