Biography

Kippy Hammond's work has been recognized in numerous exhibitions and solo shows receiving national and international awards. Ms Hammond was a demonstrator and lecturer at the International Association of Pastel Societies Eighth Biennial Convention in 2009 and 2011. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Southeastern Pastel Society and a former Salon International du Pastel international guest of honor. The artist graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia in the USA.

Presently residing in France, she continues to paint landscapes and commissioned portraits for clients and galleries in the United States and Europe. A popular art instructor in pastel and oil painting, Ms Hammond travels and lectures on creativity and self mentoring. As the resident artist and director of La Bonne Etoile Artist Retreat in Fontaine-Fourches, France she hosts visiting international artists throughout the year.
