Kitchen Implements Organized - hanging from cup hooks on stove ventI was tired of digging through a drawer to find the kitchen tools I needed. Then I got the idea to buy those inexpensive magnetic cup hooks and attach them all around my hood vent. Now the tools are at my finger tips, it looks nice, and I freed up a drawer for something else. I used the drawer for all my spices.

Using Dollar Tree Plastic Containers

A plastic container being used as a drip catch tray for a potted plant.I spent some of today repotting plants. Not wanting to use my good saucers for drip catchers, I looked around for something a bit deeper. I found a Dollar Tree sandwich/food keeper box and cut it in half.

Finding Cell Phone When Home Alone

A cell phone sitting on a table or countertop.When I retired and was home alone all day, I sometimes misplaced my cell phone. Since women's clothes often don't have pockets, it would sometimes be on a different floor if I was cleaning closets, etc. I would have to email my daughter at work and ask her to call me since we don't have a land line anymore.

Tinfoil for Easy Clean Up

A glass baking pan lined with tinfoilTo make your clean up from dinner or baking for fun, simply add a layer of tinfoil onto your glass or metal pan before putting it in the oven. Still use nonstick spray because it will still stick but it allows a easier cleanup.
