NEW TO ATELIER: Leather Jewellery by Tania Clarke Hall We are delighted to welcome award-winning jeweller Tania Clarke Hall to our family of talented makers here at Atelier Beside the Sea. Her striking jewellery in simple, graphic, designs, made from hand cut and dyed saddle leather with contrasting edges, is truly something out of the ordinary. Influenced by her background in chemistry and a love of Japanese design, Tania’s bold and dramatic pieces are designed with a deceptively simple economy of line. She delights in moulding, slashing, scorching and colouring the leather using experimental and innovative techniques that continually push the boundaries of her medium.
