GET TO KNOW THE ARTISTS
The 25 bands are different in size and style, but they're all playing 1 set list! You'll hear ensembles playing Choro, Latin jazz, vocalists, brass bands, and more as you stroll along the DCR Charles River Esplanade.
MIXCLA, a Latin jazz band from Berklee who appeared on Stave Sessions, is part of the lineup. And so are Celebrity Series Neighborhood Arts musicians Jason Palmer and Paul White with their ensembles. And you won't want to miss the FunkAcademy, featuring some of the youngest musicians on the artist lineup!
Check out all 25 bands here.
DOWNLOAD THE MAP
Download the free interactive Google Map to your phone so you don't miss a single note! You'll be able to find band names and locations, water fountains, rest rooms, and information tables along the route.
PEEP THE SET LIST Some hints about the songs: Try not to drink any "Dirty Water" or eat "Boston Beans" before you run the "Boston Marathon." But keep an eye out for "Boston Bernie" and "Sweet Baby James" along the route before you "Peace."
MORE NUTS & BOLTS There's no parking along the Esplanade, so it's best to take the MBTA, walk, bike, or use a ride-share service.
Jazz Along The Charles begins at the Community Boating building near the Longfellow Bridge on the Charles River Esplanade and extends one mile throughout the park ending at the Fairfield Street footbridge near the Stoneman Playground.
