Good evening,

Good evening,

It’s almost time for bed. And if you needed another reason to start thinking about your mattress, here it is.

Tonight, Street Talk can reveal that Aussie online mattress and furniture success story Koala has launched a private capital raising to fund its offshore growth plans.

The company – famously backed by cricketer Steve Smith – has two banks on board helping drum up interest in the deal, which values Koala at about $500 million.

Meanwhile, reporting season might have faded into the rear-view mirror but there’s a new season on the minds of bankers and fund managers: IPO killing season.

Finally, we unveil which corporate heavyweight has joined Bank of America’s Australian advisory board; and fintech Harmoney has tapped two brokers for a dual-track funding round.

Happy reading,
