KOK Wings & Things lands statewide award; Here's how the Black-owned eatery is succeeding

By ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Good morning, Acadiana. Let's get down to business.

You've heard the back story of Kitchen on Klinton Wings & Things, but here's the latest: they were named the Young Entrepreneurial Business of the Year award from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Louisiana District. While Black-owned businesses and restaurants have high failure rates, the four owners — none of which are 30 years of age — have three sites and plans for others in Baton Rouge and New Iberia.

You can read here about how they've been successful.

If you want to keep up with Acadiana’s must-read story of the day, sign up for the C’est Tout newsletter. It sends the top story of the day every evening; that’s all.

Have a great day and see you back here Friday morning.
