| | | Every Thursday evening starting in December, the World According to Sound will live stream spatialized audio straight to the headphones of people listening together, all around the world. Every attendee will be mailed an eye mask and listening instructions for how to tune into a program made by radio producers, musicians, and sound artists. After each show, we’ll have a live discussion with the people who made the audio. The programs feature sound and music from the likes of the Kronos Quartet, Matmos, and Bill Fontana, along with sound artists and radio producers like Chris Hoff and KQED's Sam Harnett. Tickets must be ordered one week before the show to receive an eyemask and program. KQED listeners can use promo code KQEDSounds for 25 percent off any ticket or a season pass. | | |
