Join KQED at the de Young museum for its newest exhibition Alice Neel: People Come First. Recently on display at The Met, this ambitious retrospective is the first comprehensive West Coast museum survey of the work of American artist Alice Neel. Featuring paintings, drawings, watercolors, and films that position Neel as one of the twentieth century’s most radical painters, a champion of social justice whose long-standing commitment to humanist principles inspired her life as well as her art.
Admission is free on Friday, April 8, 2022 to KQED members plus one guest who present their current KQED MemberCard on-site at the tickets desk.
