Retail is a tough gig these days. Ace Hardware CEO John Venhuizen says any firm that considers itself “Amazon-proof” is probably in for a rude awakening. While Venhuizen believes having the ability to adapt in the new normal of retail is crucial, it’s just as important to understand what a brand really shines at and find new ways to bring that to customers.
