Kubernetes Lifts Cloud Native Coders to New Heights At the sold-out KubeCon 2018 in Seattle, the vibe of everyone from entrepreneurs to rainbow-bearded engineers was one of coming together to solve planet-scale cloud computing problems. If the goal of Kubernetes is a world where apps run in a cloud that is as ubiquitous as electricity, the excitement makes sense. Starting with Kubernetes, open source is key to the technology stack the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is incubating. Like gold dust, open source lent a glow to every business at KubeCon. That CNCF stack isn’t accessible only to startups either: It’s becoming the standard for major cloud providers. For example, Oracle Cloud Native Framework comprises a rich set of Kubernetes-compatible Oracle Cloud Infrastructure cloud native services. Are you building on Kubernetes? Write me with your thoughts.
