L.A. Creator Ross Victory Thrives And Inspires

Ross Victory is an award-winning author and musician. The Los Angeles native recently sat down with L.A. Weekly to share his inspirational story.

After losing both his brother and father, Victory took a hard look at his own life and did not like what he found. Inspired by their legacies, he decided to change his life’s trajectory. Leaning into his creative talents, he fashioned a new reality in which he could thrive.

A series of books and an ever-growing catalog of original music followed. Informed by his own struggles as a bisexual black man, and surviving two devastating losses,, Ross’ work champions the outsider–the invisible–who find happiness and success through self acceptance. The multifaceted artist hopes to inspire others to live their best lives by embracing their own uniqueness.
