Government approves Draft Real Estate Credit Act

The aim of the new legislation is to reduce costs associated with modifications to mortgage contracts and to strengthen transparency. The Council of Ministers also agreed on the draft law of the new Basque Country Quota Act for the five-year period 2017-2021 and measures on the elections to the Regional Parliament of Catalonia to be held on 21 December.

Government approves complementary rule on regional elections in Catalonia

At an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, the government approved the complementary rules on the elections to be held for the Regional Parliament of Catalonia on 21 December. Furthermore, measures were adopted on the organisation of the Regional Government of Catalonia and the dismissal of various senior officials, according to the press briefing given by the Government Delegate for Catalonia, Enric Millo, in Barcelona.
