Government to enhance Spain's image through international campaigns to promote tourism

The government has agreed to allocate 33.3 million euros to develop advertising campaigns in countries where Spain is not a consolidated tourist destination. It also approved a call for proposals for 400 million euros in subsidies for re-industrialisation for the year 2019.

Pedro Snchez receives State's Attorney General, Mara Jos Segarra, at Moncloa Palace

The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, received the State's Attorney General, Mara Jos Segarra, at Moncloa Palace, who presented him with a copy of the annual report that contains the activity of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the last judicial year, together with the development of criminal conduct, the prevention of crime and the reforms necessary for more efficient and effective justice. The annual report will be made public next week at the opening of the 2019-2020 Judicial Year, to be held on 9 September at the Plenary Hall of the Supreme Court.

Spain, ready to handle a no-deal Brexit

The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, chaired the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee to Monitor the Withdrawal Process of the United Kingdom from the European Union. This extraordinary meeting was held in light of the proximity of the withdrawal date of 31 October to assess the state of application of the national contingency plan in the event of a no-deal withdrawal.
