Bringing the power of AI to enterprise data and apps
When Oracle’s Larry Ellison and Juan Loaiza announced the availability of Oracle Database 23ai recently, they talked about three particularly crucial areas of advancement: artificial intelligence, app development, and mission-critical use cases. Among more than 300 new features and enhancements, one of the most powerful capabilities is AI Vector Search, now incorporated directly into Oracle Database. They also discussed how the new release unifies relational, JSON, and graph data models in one database, which will help developers be more productive. “AI Vector Search, combined with new unified development paradigms and mission-critical capabilities, makes it simple for developers and data professionals to build intelligent apps, increase developer productivity, and run mission-critical workloads,” said Loaiza, executive vice president of mission-critical database technologies. Read six takeaways about the Oracle Database 23ai news, according to John Foley’s Cloud Database Report.
