| | | Open now: Defence Industry Grants Program The new Defence Industry Development Grant (DIDG) is now available for small and medium businesses. This grant aims to support businesses that are building skills and products that match the needs of Australia’s defence industry. The program will provide funding to help businesses: Strengthen Australia’s own defence capabilities Compete globally Achieve technical excellence Enhance national security There are four key areas in the program: Sovereign Industrial Priorities: focusing on developing Australian defence capabilities Grants up to $1m. Skilling: building a skilled workforce to support the defence industry grants up to $250,000 Exports: helping businesses reach international markets grants up to $250,000.
