Dear John,

At the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), we stand by families as they deal with some heavy stuff—but as Gabrielle Union said this morning, “Ignoring these problems will not make them go away.”

Throughout the day we’ve sent you the stories of the families that we serve here at NCMEC. Will you make sure that parents across America never have to suffer what Tilo, Jessica, and our family went through again?

We helped found NCMEC back in 1984 after our son, Adam, was horrifically abducted and murdered. Back then, we vowed that we would fight to help make sure that no parent experiences what we did ever again—and we have been fighting ever since.

Today, NCMEC is the nation's clearinghouse and comprehensive reporting center for all issues related to the prevention of and recovery from child victimization. We lead the fight against abduction, abuse, and exploitation—because every child deserves a safe childhood.

Please donate today and help make America a safer place for all children.
