High School Division Tryouts The Florida League High School Division will have their Summer 2019 tryouts on Saturday, January 19 in Sanford. We will have 17U, 16U, and 15U teams this season. Our tournament schedule includes top events from Perfect Game, ProspectWire and Florida Scoutball. Registration is open through January 18th ... however, TODAY is the final day to register at a discounted price ($30 off). The 5th Annual Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions is taking place in Orlando January 17-20 and the Florida League is a beneficiary of the tournament this year! The Florida League is a summer wood bat baseball league with six teams in Central Florida. Founded in 2003, the Florida League (TAX ID 20-0921688) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides a valuable opportunity for college players to play wood bat baseball against top-level competition with the goal of preparing them for a career in professional baseball. The Florida League is a member of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball, an alliance of college summer wood bat leagues which follows NCAA legislation. The Florida League is funded in part by Major League Baseball and dependent on donations, fundraisers, support from local businesses and foundations in each teamâs community. |
