Four Years Beside the Sea – Thank You!

This week marks a very special milestone: Atelier Beside the Sea turns four!

We can’t say it’s been easy. Opening a large gallery, shop, and classroom in the middle of a pandemic — and then weathering the war in Ukraine and the cost of living crisis — wasn’t exactly ideal timing! But we’ve survived, and it seems we’ve become a much-loved part of the city.

Customers now regularly make their way to the seafront to see what’s new, enjoy our changing exhibitions, and discover original, high-quality art and craft at all price points.

Over the past four years, we’ve:

- Hosted more than 20 exhibitions.

- Shown over 700 incredible artists.

- Welcomed more than half a million visitors.
