DeGeneration, her project with producer Alexandra Caulfield, was selected for last year’s NSI Totally Television course and moved onto phase two of the course earlier this month.

Ticket giveaway for next weekend’s African Movie Festival in Manitoba

The African Movie Festival in Manitoba (AM-FM) is an annual spring event held in Winnipeg, showcasing the best of African cinema and creating a platform for Afro-Canadian dialogue.

The fest is giving away 10 pairs of tickets for Saturday, May 5. The day includes four film screenings, networking opportunities, panel discussions, and the opportunity to purchase tickets for a group dinner.

To enter the contest, email Ben Akoh, festival founder and exec director, with the subject line ‘Complimentary ticket.’ In the body of your email, answer the question ‘What one thing would you do to promote socio-cultural interaction in Manitoba?’ The first 10 people to contact Ben with their answer will receive complimentary passes.
