Register for directing workshop with Sean Garrity in Winnipeg, June 9 Posted: 04 May 2018 11:33 AM PDT Learn the art of directing in a one day, hands-on, lecture-based workshop at the Winnipeg Film Group with acclaimed filmmaker Sean Garrity (NSI Features First). The workshop takes place on Saturday, June 9 from 12 to 5 p.m. Sean will go over his director’s process of translating a story from screenplay language to the language of cinema so it’s ready to shoot. Peppered with stories from set and clips from films – his own as well as some favourites – Sean will talk about putting just the right amount of each formal element into your soup so it comes out tasting the way you want it to. Workshop cost is $60 ($40 for Winnipeg Film Group members). Find out more and register.
