Films by Tasha Hubbard (NSI IndigiDocs) and Michelle Latimer (NSI Drama Prize) are among projects to receive funding from the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Fund. The fund provides financial support to Canadian documentary filmmakers.

Life and Death on the Prairies, directed by Tasha Hubbard, explores the legacy of oppression in Tasha’s homelands in light of the fatal shooting of Colten Boushie.

The Inconvenient Indian, directed by Michelle Latimer, journeys into the mind of Thomas King: one of the world’s foremost Indigenous intellectuals and one of our greatest storytellers.
