CBC launched its Snapchat channel this week and has chosen Fourth Period Burnout by Angela Heck (NSI Features First), Daniel Bear (CBC New Indigenous Voices) and Darcy Waite (CBC New Indigenous Voices, NSI IndigiDocs) as one of the first things to be featured.

In Fourth Period Burnout, three teens document how they experience high expectations and pressure to succeed. Their artistic recreations show what it’s like to be overwhelmed, overworked and heading towards burnout.

The film is directed by Madison Thomas, written by Juliette Schroeder-Suss, Daniel Bear, Theresa Gotiongco and Madison Thomas, and produced by Angela Heck with associate producer Darcy Waite.
