NSI Features First 2018 shortlist revealed Posted: 20 Nov 2017 08:51 AM PST Following our most recent NSI Features First call for applications which closed in September, these projects have been shortlisted for the 2018 program. Up to four projects will make the final cut in early December. Greta Follows Rivers Producer: Brittany Bristow | Writer: Julia Rowland (Toronto, ON) Must Kill Karl Producer: Ryan West | Writer: Karen Moore (Toronto, ON) She Smiles Back Producer: Amelia Wasserman | Writer: Matt Sadowski (Toronto, ON) The Cabin Producer: Rebeka Herron (Toronto, ON) | Writer: Brandon Tom (Burnaby, BC) The Stars Shine in Temperance Producer: Christopher Redmond | Writer: Jared Young (Ottawa, ON) White River Producer: Natalie Urquhart | Writer: Sam Coyle (Toronto, ON) Wilting Iris Producer: Scott Lepp (Okotoks, AB) | Writer: Sandi Somers (Calgary, AB) • • • NSI Features First is a development training launch pad for producer/writer teams looking to produce their first or second feature film with strong commercial appeal. The selected teams will meet with top-level experts throughout the program and receive $7,500 towards the final development and packaging of their feature film project. NSI Features First is funded by Presenting Sponsor Telefilm Canada; Supporting Sponsors Entertainment One, Super Channel, Corus Entertainment and Breakthrough Entertainment; Provincial Sponsors Creative Saskatchewan and Creative BC through the Daryl Duke and William Vince Scholarship Fund; and Service Sponsor William F.
