Amanda Strong, Bracken Hanuse Corlett pop-up artist talk at Winnipeg Art Gallery tonight Posted: 16 Jan 2018 01:26 PM PST Amanda Strong and Bracken Hanuse Corlett (both NSI IndigiDocs) present a pop-up artist talk tonight, January 16, at the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) in support of their work’s inclusion in the WAG’s current Insurgence/Resurgence exhibition. It happens at 5 p.m. today and covers their multi-media work including animated film Biidaaban and the props (pictured) and puppets used to make it. Adventures in Public School hits the road with screenings in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg + more Posted: 16 Jan 2018 10:48 AM PST In addition to its Toronto run in Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival, NSI Features First-developed Adventures in Public School (previously known as Public Schooled), from writer/director Kyle Rideout and writer/producer Josh Epstein, hits the road over the next couple of months with screenings across the country. Adventures in Public School also screens at Fernie Film Festival‘s opening night on January 26 and the Available Light Film Fest in Whitehorse, Yukon on February 4. • • • NSI Features First is a development training launch pad for producer/writer teams looking to produce their first or second feature film with strong commercial appeal.
