Participants reflect on training through NSI IndigiDocs and Art of Business Management

By Rachel Young on Jul 03, 2022 04:43 pm

In April 2022, 10 Indigenous creators embarked on their first days of training through NSI IndigiDocs and NSI Art of Business Management.

The four NSI IndigiDocs participants have completed phase one of the two-phase program to develop their short documentary idea into a 10-minute finished film. They will now begin the production phase with support and guidance from faculty.

NSI Art of Business Management participants have completed training and created project plans for a feature film or web series currently in production. The six Indigenous producers will now work alongside mentors to guide their project.

We asked participants to submit a written, audio or video reflection on what they have learned and how training has impacted them and their careers.
