TODAY IN CHURCH HISTORY December 15 1842 - The Prophet Joseph's case was presented to the Illinois State Supreme Court. They agreed that the order for his arrest out of Missouri signed by former Governor Carlin was illegal, but disagreed upon what action the present Governor could take.
