SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY 1 Peter 2:9-10 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy." QUOTE OF THE DAY David O. McKay "The first thing to do, my brethren [and sisters], is to look to yourselves, to see whether or not you are prepared to teach. No [person] can teach that which [they themself do] not know. It is your duty to teach that Jesus Christ is the redeemer of the world, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that to him in this last dispensation there appeared God the Father and his Son in person. Do you believe it? Do you feel it?" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: David O. McKay, p. 121). ARCHIVE |
