Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL July 3, 2016 Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Psalm 33:11-22 "The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." |
QUOTE OF THE DAYGordon B. Hinckley "I am convinced that if we are to continue to have the freedoms which came of the inspiration of the almighty to our founding fathers, we must return to the god who is their true author. We need to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We need to acknowledge His all-powerful hand. We need to humble ourselves before Him and seek His guidance in all that concerns matters of state" (The Spirit of America, p.157).
