SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Doctrine & Covenants 132:20 "Then shall they be gods, because they have no end; therefore shall they be from everlasting to everlasting, because they continue; then shall they be above all, because all things are subject unto them. Then shall they be gods, because they have all power, and the angels are subject unto them." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY Harold B. Lee "May we so live that all who are with us may see not us but that which is divine that came from God, and in that vision of what we are and may become, may we receive the strength to climb higher and upward, onward to that great goal of eternal life" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Harold B. Lee, p. 16). |

A dinner was then held in the grove attended by officers of the Legion, "and many others, with their ladies."
