Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL November 17 Having the Spirit |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Alma 17:11 "And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy brethren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY George Albert Smith "Let us labor day by day that our Father may bless us. If we have His Holy Spirit, the people with whom we come in contact will feel it, because it will permeate the atmosphere in which we live, and they will partake of it and drink it in" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: George Albert Smith, p. 154). |
