Lawyer issued hefty fine: The federal judge overseeing the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ bankruptcy case has slapped a lawyer who reprents clergy abuse survivors with a huge fine. John Simerman fills us in. ACT scores drop: Louisiana students continue to see their ACT scores fall. For the fifth consecutive year, the college entrance exam scores showed a decline and are almost 2 points lower than the national average – which has also dipped. Yep, seems the shark population in the Gulf is growing. And they’re becoming more aggressive, fishing guides and wildlife officials say.
