The rise of remote working because of the pandemic has prompted between 14 million and 23 million Americans to plan relocations to new regions or cities, according to an Upwork survey. Weekly jobless claims declined more than expected US first-time unemployment claims for the week ending Oct. 24 totaled 751,000, a decrease of 40,000 from the week before.
